Description
The HI93502N LUMBERG Thermistor Thermometer is a durable meter that can be used with a wide variety of interchangeable thermistor probes. This thermometer was designed for daily use in food applications such as industrial kitchens and catering. The HI93502N provides a temperature readout in degrees Celsius and offers features such as a HOLD function, calibration check, stability indicator, and Hanna’s Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) that will shut the meter off when the battery power is too low for an accurate measurement.
Features at-a-glance
℃ Readout – Measurements are displayed in degrees Celsius on the clear, easy to read LCD display.
Calibration Check – The HI93502N is provided with an automatic calibration check feature at start-up, which allows the user to check the instrument calibration status. If the meter is calibrated, the display will stabilize and show “0.0 ℃” (±0.3℃) in a matter of seconds.
Interchangeable Thermistor Probes –A wide range of thermistor type probes are available to meet the specific needs of users. Hanna Instruments offers the HI762 series that includes probes to measure the temperatures of surfaces, gases, air, liquid, and semisolid samples.
Stability Indicator – A stability indicator bar graph with seven levels is visible on the large, clear LCD display. When a reading stabilizes inside a ±0.1℃ window, the meter displays the word “Stable” and all seven levels of the bar graph are achieved.
HOLD Function – The HOLD button on the face of the meter freezes the display to allow the user time to record readings. The stability indicator bar graph is also held on the display to give users confidence in their readings.
Optional Calibration Test Keys – For measurements that are always reliable, thermometers must be calibrated periodically. Hanna offers calibration test keys (not included) to offer a fast and simple way of checking the accuracy of the HI93502N. By simply connecting the key to the probe input, the thermistor thermometer will display a reading; if the reading differs more than 0.4oC from the key value, the thermometer should be recalibrated.
Automatic Shut-off – After 8 minutes of inactivity, the HI93502N automatically shuts off to conserve battery power.
Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) – The Battery Error Prevention System will shut the meter off when the battery power is too low for an accurate measurement.
Low Battery Indicator – When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will blink to indicate low battery condition.
