Description
Auto-Diagnostic Feature
Built-in autodiagnostic functions to enable the user to check and troubleshoot any malfunctions. The functions are made via front panel keys to isolate the cause of malfunction.
Consent Contacts
These contacts (maximum 2A, 220 V) are for reduction and oxidation reactions when the pH controller is used with an ORP Controller. In these applications, the consent contacts of both meters are connected together to link the ORP and pH controllers so that ORP dosage will occur only if the actual pH value is correct, to avoid overdosage of oxidants or reductants that can lead to pollution.
Alarm Contacts
If the measured ORP is not within the tolerance of the set value, the alarm contact is closed. This can occur if there is insufficient dosage or if there is overdosage.
Outputs
You can choose the output configuration for connecting a recorder or a PLC, between 0-20 or 4-20 mA
ORP Dosing Consent Device
When used in conjunction with the HI 8710 pH controller, the ODCD (ORP dosing consent device) function (featured by the HI 8710) will ensure that the ORP dosage will start only when the pH level is correct.
Robust Design
A removable, transparent splash-proof cover protects the front panel.
