Innovation Dedicated to a Single Parameter
edge® dedicated meters are designed to measure a single parameter. This series is thin and lightweight, measuring just 12 mm (1⁄2”) thick and weighing less than 250 g (9 ounces). Each meter has an incredibly wide viewing angle, 14 cm (5.5”) LCD and a sensitive capacitive touch keypad. edge dedicated pH, Conductivity/TDS/Salinity, and Dissolved Oxygen models are available.

Hybrid Meters That Can Be Used in Portable,
Wall-mount and Benchtop Configurations
The versatile design of edge dedicated enables it to be used as a portable, wall-mount, or benchtop meter. edge dedicated simplifies measurement, configuration, calibration, diagnostics, logging and transferring data directly to a computer or USB drive.

Digital Smart Electrodes
edge dedicated performs measurements through its unique digital electrodes. These digital electrodes are auto-recognized, providing sensor type, calibration data and a serial number when connected to edge by an easy to plug-in 3.5 mm connector.
edge pH dedicated features Hanna’s exclusive CAL Check™ to warn you if the electrode in use is not clean or if the buffers are contaminated during calibration. We have added Sensor Check™ for pH sensors with a matching pin. Our Sensor Check feature warns you if the pH bulb is cracked and/or the junction of the electrode is compromised. In addition to these features, edge pH dedicated also measures ORP with edge compatible ORP probes.

Two USB Ports
edge dedicated has a standard USB for exporting data with a flash drive and a micro USB port to connect to a computer for file export and for charging your edge when the cradle is not available.

Sleek, Portable Design
Due to its light weight, large screen, and thin design, edge dedicated can be easily slipped into a backpack or messenger bag. edge offers up to 8 hours of battery life when used as a portable device.

Data Logging
Store up to 1000 log records of data. Data sets include readings, GLP data, date and time.
edge dedicated offers manual log-on-demand, manual log-on-stability, and interval logging.

Wall-mount Cradle and Electrode Holder with Built-in Cradle Included
The included wall-mount cradle makes it easy to conserve space on the benchtop and can charge edge with the AC adapter, ideal for continuous monitoring applications.
The included electrode holder features an adjustable, swivel arm with a built-in cradle to hold edge securely in place at the optimum viewing angle.
Rechargeable Battery
The benchtop or wall-mount cradle can be used to recharge the meter battery. The battery can also be recharged through the micro USB port with either a computer connection or the power supply.
edge dedicated Technical Features

Basic mode (HI2002 edge pH dedicated and HI2003 edge EC dedicated only)
Basic mode is ideal for routine measurements for a simplified screen and features.

CAL Check (HI2002 edge pH dedicated only)
edge pH dedicated features Hanna’s exclusive CAL Check to warn you if the bulb of the electrode is not clean or if the buffers are contaminated during calibration.

Sensor Check™ (HI2002 edge pH dedicated only)
When used with Hanna’s electrodes, equipped with a matching pin, edge pH dedicated constantly checks the impedance of the pH measuring electrode to notify you in real time in the event of glass breakage. During calibration, Sensor Check verifies the state of the junction. The reference junction is also evaluated and reported on the display.

GLP
Data of the last calibration performed is stored in the sensor including the date, time and buffer/standards. When a compatible sensor is connected to edge, GLP data is automatically transferred.
edge dedicated Design Features

Capacitive touch buttons
edge dedicated features a capacitive touch keypad that gives a distinctive, modern look. Since the keypad is part of the screen, your buttons can never get clogged with sample residue. The up and down keys move faster when continuously held (ideal for scrolling through numerous logs).

Easy to read LCD
edge dedicated features a 5.5” (14 cm) LCD display that you can clearly view from over 5 m (16.4’). The large display, with its wide 150° viewing angle, provides one of the easiest to read LCDs in the industry.

3.5 mm probe input
Plugging an electrode in has never been easier, no alignments, no broken pins, just connect the 3.5 mm plug and get started.

Clear, full text readout
edge dedicated features clear, full text guides displayed on the bottom of the screen. There is no need to decipher scrambled abbreviations or symbols; these helpful messages guide you through every process quickly and easily.
Model Specific Features
Each model is dedicated to a single parameter and can accept any
edge probe compatible with it’s dedicated parameter.
